Joining an Organization

If someone else in your company's already started using Jell, you'll want to make sure you join the organization they've already created on Jell.

There are a number of ways to make sure you get connected with your teammates on Jell.

Ask a Teammate to Add You

Most of the time, you'll want a teammate to add you to Jell automatically using our Slack or G Suite integration. Once they do, you'll receive an email that looks something like this:

We'll automatically provision an account for you and you can just click the link in the email to login and start using Jell.

Ask a Teammate to Invite You

If your organization isn't using the Slack or G Suite integrations on Jell, they can send you an email invite. Once they do, you'll receive an email that looks something like this:

Click the link in the email, and you'll be prompted to sign up for an account to start using Jell.

Join with Slack or G Suite

If your organization is using our Slack or G Suite integration, you can also join by authenticating with your Slack or Google account when you sign up:

We'll find the appropriate organization on Jell and connect you with your team members.

You're ready to join a team to start submitting standups or check-ins. You will be able to join standups that are set to "Public". Public standups can be joined by anyone that is part of your Jell organization. Private standups can only be joined if another team member invites you to it. To join a Public (doesn't mean public to the Internet) standup/team, click on Standups in the top menu and click on the standup you would like to join. If it is a public standup, you'll see a Join link. Click on it to join.
